We’ve written about the numerous tools that enable you to manage your huge photo collection in new and exciting new ways. That’s supposed to be ironic. There are only so many tools that you can use to manage, show, group and enhance your photo collection. Unless you’re a professional photographer and want to use Adobe Lightroom or Apple’s Aperture – both fantastic photo management tools – there are a number of options, both free and commercial.
Photology is yet another tool that will enable you to import, manage, group, enhance and share your photos. It ships with it’s own user-interface which is very different from anything you’ve probably used on a Windows-based system.
Photology will enable you to add a text description, store photos in different groups and when you’re finished editing, share the images on the web, through Flickr or simply output via your printer.
It’s based on Microsoft .NET 3, so you’ll need this installed before you can use Photology. Bear in mind that this is commercial (yes, as in trial..) software, so you only receive a 14 day license to continue using the software. Within those 14 days, you can decide whether it’s better than other free photo management software.
