Bottled-water company Highland Spring has introduced a wireless monitoring
system for its exported shipments in a bid to reduce costs and improve
operational processes.
The new system, which is provided by SaviTrak, allows the company to monitor
product shipments from the UK to international consumers in real time.
“We want to ensure that all our customers have the same quality of experience
as those in the UK, even if they are based in Hong Kong or Dubai,” said Yannis
Karagounis, Highland Spring's exports planning and distribution manager.
“[The system] allows us to improve the management and control of our
logistics operations to minimise costs and ensure our consumer trust continues
to be well-earned,” said Karagounis.
