Design Pro 5 is a label design tool intended mainly for use with Avery's massive range of stationery products, ranging from address labels and business cards to CD/DVD labels and jewel case inserts.
It comes with a vast amount of clipart and over 2,200 predesigned Avery templates, so novices can get started immediately.
The program isn't only aimed at novices, though, as you can perform advanced tasks such as mailmerge from Access or Excel databases or add automatic serial numbers and barcodes to your labels.
It can also create new databases for you in dbf format. You can import your own images and there's a basic photo editor built in.
This free version of Design Pro 5 does not include the clipart, photos, ready-made designs and manual that accompany the full-priced version. You can upgrade to the full version at any time for £24.95.
