An MSc course in smartphone development starts at a London university this
September.
The Mobile Applications Development (MSc) course at London Metropolitan will
be based on the Symbian operating system and prepares students for the
Accredited Symbian Developer (ASD) examinationt.
Just under 51.7 million Symbian smartphones were sold worldwide last year and
more than 110 million have been shipped in all.
Course leader, Dr Yanguo Jing, said: ‘With the smartphone market set for
continued expansion, there is a growing need for professional Symbian
developers."
