Adobe has launched new versions of its
flagship consumer photo and video editor products.
Photoshop Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4, which can be bought as a £99.99
bundle or separately for £69.99 each, now share an organiser with a database
accessible from both products.
New feature of Photoshop Elements include Photomerge, allows you to combined
from a series of similar group photos your preferred facial expressions and body
language.
A Quick Selection Tool, as its name suggests, is said to speed up the
sometime tricky business of selecting a pictured object.
Adobe Premiere Elements 4 includes a new audio mixer and a sharing centre
offering different ways to show off videos, including export to YouTube.
John Loiacono, senior vice president of Creative Solutions at Adobe, said
people are demanding sophisticated video and photo tools to show. "
Sophistication doesn't mean complication. The combination of Photoshop Elements
& Adobe Premiere Elements offers a whole new user experience."
