Like the original version of Maxivista, this new release allows users to extend their Windows desktop onto the screen of a second PC or notebook without the need for a dual-head graphics card.

You can connect up to four PCs via Ethernet, wireless Lan, FireWire or USB for a potential desktop area of up to 7,680 x 1,600.

In Remote Control mode, Maxivista can be used as an alternative to a keyboard video and mouse switch, so you can control up to four PCs with one keyboard and mouse.

A minor issue was slightly jerky video playback when multiple PCs were connected via a wireless network, but this is an innovative alternative to a multi-head graphics card.
