Get your kids learning early with this simple software from Flix Productions. Designed for pre-school and infant children, Animated Math aims to help teach the basics of adding and subtracting.

Dealing with numbers zero to nine only, this program is designed to be worked through by you and your child. It is split into six sections, each one testing a different aspect of mathematics.

At the simplest end, the child has simply to count the number of on-screen graphics and select an answer from zero to nine. Other sections involve solving basic addition or subtraction sums: the simpler ones use graphics, while the harder ones replace graphics with numbers.

Each time a section is launched the questions are different, ensuring that your child gets used to the many ways to obtain the same answer (i.e. 5+2=7; 4+3=7 etc).

On completion of 10 questions the child is given access to the games room which contains all sorts of fun tasks, from building a spaceship and playing a piano to colouring-in.
